If you’re planning a birthday celebration for your dog and planning on getting them a cake for the special day, there are a couple of questions you’ll need to answer to ensure you choose the right birthday cake for your dog.
First of all you’ll need to know what flavors your dog likes because you’ll want to look for cakes that have those ingredients in them.
Secondly and probably the most important question. How many dogs will be at the party. Because you’ll need to be sure that you get a cake that will feed that many dogs.
So let’s start out by looking at some of the different flavors of cakes we have available. If your dog loves carob we have a delicious carob swirl cake that is a salt free rice cake covered in a yogurt carob blend, or we have a peanut butter carrot cake that can be covered in pink, blue or a carob yogurt blend. We also have a divine apple oatmeal or peanut butter banana cake that can be covered in pink, blue, white or a yogurt carob blend.
Now that you have an idea of some of our delicious flavors, let’s look at the 2nd question. How many dogs will be at the party? If you will have more than 10 dogs we have a couple of great options for your party. We have a pawsome prince/princess carob vanilla swirl cake decorated with an adorable cookie crown that can be for a prince or princess or even have the birthday pups name written if it fits.
We also have a super cute paw print shaped cake in your choice of apple oatmeal or peanut butter banana. And each cake is decorated with a carob paw with either blue yogurt accents or pink yogurt accents. This is a big cake and will feed up to 20 dogs, it measures 10.25 x 10.75 x 2 inches deep.
If you don’t have 10 or more but still have 5-9 dogs coming, we have a awesome bone shaped cake in your choice of apple oatmeal or peanut butter banana. And each cake is decorated with blue yogurt, pink yogurt, white yogurt or carob.
Unlike cakes for people, dog birthday cakes are smaller in size. Keep this in mind when you see your cake, it is small, but that is because your dog does not need a large amount of cake. It is a treat and should be treated as such. These cakes should be given in sensible moderation and not on a daily basis. It’s very important not to over do the birthday goodies. By using moderation your dog can enjoy the best of all worlds. They will stay healthy and fit which of course increases longevity down the road.
We encourage all dog owners to enjoy their dogs and the time that they spend with them. Make celebrating your dog’s birthday fun while using good judgment at the same time. We recommend feeding your dog small portions of our cakes and other treats. Small portions are easier for dogs to digest and process.
Your dog’s birthday only comes around once a year and getting them a birthday cake is a great way to pamper them and have fun with your best friend. By all means, show your dog just how much you love them on their special day.
